Arts + Education Lab
The Arts + Education Lab is a multidisciplinary learning environment where creative practice meets professional preparation in real time. Integrating music, theater, dance, film, and production training, the Lab offers hands-on instruction, mentorship, and access to industry-standard spaces within Newark Symphony Hall. Designed to meet artists where they are, the Lab will prepare emerging talent to step confidently into the future of the performing arts and creative economy.

The Black Creative Economy convenes artists, corporations, nonprofits, investors, and students to advance equity, innovation, and economic opportunity across the creative
sector. Through bold dialogue, industry partnerships, and public programming, this initiative amplifies Black cultural leadership while unlocking new investment pathways.

The Production Assistant Training (P.A.T.) Program offers participants comprehensive training and hands-on experience, covering essential skills such as set etiquette, production logistics, and equipment handling.
