Great Potential. Great Promise. Great Purpose.
THANK YOU for entrusting us with your child’s light!
The CPAA Summer 2020 Program is offering a virtual experience this year. Although the program won’t be held inside the Hall, it will feature the same rich environment of education, collaboration and personal development while students enjoy engaging their creativity and molding their craft in the safety of their own home.
Our TUITION-FREE summer program offers 6 weeks of vocal performances, drama and dance classes for children ages 8 to 15. Taught by professionally trained teaching artists, the education each child receives is designed to stir their individual artistic growth and spark a passion for the arts that will help them develop a healthy relationship to their education and development inside a traditional classroom and out.
Summer 2020 Session Information
This summer, students will train with the assistance of talented faculty in a unique livestream class experience, inviting all eager performing artists to take courses in Contemporary Dance, Drama/Acting and Vocal Music from any location. All classes will be held Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm during Session I and II.
Session I: July 13th – 30th
Session II: August 3rd – August 20th
Registered students in the program will be eligible to receive a daily “grab & go” breakfast and lunch starting Monday, July 6th, provided by the #EmbraceNewark Initiative. The meals offer young emerging artists a balanced and healthy diet that will help fuel their energy and focus. All meals are available on a first come, first serve basis with proof of registration and Newark residency.
