PAT offers participants comprehensive training and hands-on experience, covering essential skills such as set etiquette, production logistics, and equipment handling. This initiative not only creates new career opportunities but also strengthens our community by nurturing local talent and enhancing the cultural and economic vitality of Newark. Audio Training Frank Brown

Course Overview-

This course delves into the intricacies of audio systems in theaters, covering aspects such as cable management, equipment maintenance, and operation both onstage and offstage. It also elucidates the roles of the audio engineer and assistant, highlighting their significance and distinctions, along with a focus on understanding various musical instruments.

Lighting Training Rachel Harris

Course Overview-

This course equips students with the essential knowledge required to effectively contribute as proficient entry-level members of a lighting installation team. Students will gain insight into the intricacies of lighting operations across diverse settings such as live theater, special events, fashion shows, television studios, and film production sets.

Film Training Nicole L. Thompson

Course Overview-

This course strives to inspire, educate, and motivate the next generation of filmmakers by providing a pathway for Newark residents to be trained to enter the Film and TV industry. Through a series of 4 Production Assistant Bootcamp trainings, we will empower 120 residents to enter the workforce.
